surprise entry!
I´m at an Internet room in Málaga right outside my hotel, so I thought I´d give you all an update.
Today we traveled about 2.5 hours to Málaga and visited the botanical gardens. It is a really neat area and I tried to get some good nature photos for Dad, but my camera battery died and not much was in bloom right now, anyway.
We went to lunch at a local place, but I only snacked because Mercedes had packed me a lunch. After, I decided to shop rather than visit a couple of the tourist traps. I don´t mind that I missed out, but I had some tag-along girls who were annoying to have around. I still just could not find anything. There were several things I liked, but the sizes were just off a bit. I suppose my size is prety popular. Another issue with buying clothes is that several of the stores don´t have quality clothes. Not to mention the style here is not really me. Lots of exaggerated cuts and colors and patterns.
Visited the Pablo Picasso Museum. I thought of Soo. It was VERY cool. Almost as cool as the Figge.
Nancy, the woman trying to find my suitcase, is on this trip with no news. She told me that she was having a woman in the office call the airline and would give me an update, but there hasn´t been one. I told her Mom was in contact with someone and that it turned out I was being given an allowance. Then, Nancy said yes, I should be given an allowance of $50 a day. I wish she had told me that earlier. I´m not sure who is right here, but I will buy things I need and I will save the receipts. If I ever find anything. I had a bit of a break down last night, but everyone knows I don´t have stuff. Several of the girls don´t understand why I just don´t buy things. I guess it´s hard for me to justify buying something I´m not in love with just to buy it.
Tomorrow night after we return to Sevilla I will be going to a soccer game. Hopefully I will get some sleep soon. Last night, five minutes after my episode, I went to a concert with my roommate. It was one of those festivals were there are several stages with bands throughout the night. We went with the intercambio, who I have decided I do not like. So, Soo, you don´t need to meet him. It was mostly hip hop music that I clearly did not understand because it was in Spanish and everyone was drunk and or high. Not my thing. We didn´t go until 10:30, and I left by myself at 2:30 am because the others wanted to stay. I was not in a good mood. I don´t dance and did not feel good.
Feel free to call, I´m always looking for a quick escape. And really, I´m up from 7 AM my time to at least 2 AM every night. Life here is crazy. Soon we can set up something for cheaper calls, though I don´t think I can use the landline at my homestay. Still, 30 cents is cheaper than 50 cents....
Times running out on my computer. Love you, miss you!! Really.

I am glad that you got time to blog and shop a little. Keep up your spirits. You have every right to have a breakdown once in a while but don't let the lack of luggage ruin your summer. We got your message that you got home last night, sorry no one answered the phone, Susan was in bathroom. Mary was on other phone and I was mowing. Love you
Think of your situation this way: you are on a Eurpoean shopping spree. You have free reign to buy whatever you want-even if you are not in love with it- because IT'S NOT YOUR MONEY!!!! Spend every cent (or euro) of that $50 you get! It doesn't happen everyday, girlfriend. Usually you have to enter a contest or something.
It will be like you have a second wardrobe when the luggage gets there. Besides, if you buy some of that strangely cut and brightly colored clothing, you won't look like such an American. Think: Dad's vacation hats with all the crazy colors and flowers. (I am by no means telling you to buy a hideous hat with Hawaiian flowers.) I will call you this week. You are so brave for taking this trip!
