Hi All.
I didn´t make it to a computer the past couple of days. Tuesday I had an early test, and Wednesday was a national holiday so classes were cancelled, Internet café´s closed, and I went on a day trip to Arcacena. Or somewhere like that.
While there we visited an old mine on the Red River. It was a cool sight to see, but very boring as we stood in the hot sun for a long time while our guide explained, in Spanish, the history of it. It´s hard to pay attention to those kinds of things when they´re in English!
Then we stopped at a rural village to tour. Lots of white-washed houses with flowers growing on them. Stray cats that I made friends with. Community fountains for laundry. No technology, really. Maybe Ellen Goodman would enjoy a life there, Dad.
The last stop was at a cavern. I forgot the name (but do have it written down, Katie). I was under the impression there would be some sort of rock climbing or repelling, but there wasn´t. The rooms were so huge to walk through. There were lights and paved walkways. In short, it was a 45 minutes walking tour.
I had hoped to go to the beach. I´m going on Sunday. And Saturday I´m going to Gibralter.
The luggage is here! If you hadn´t heard...
The airport brought at 12 AM Tuesday night. If you ask me, that seems a little late. Especially because I knew it was coming that evening, so I made it a point to be home by 6 pm.
Everything seems to be there, except for a few things I thought I packed. Mom, you might want to look around the house and see if you find my iPod arm band and my retainers. My iPod froze three or four days ago when it was on, so it died and I keep forgetting to charge it.
Also, I thought I packed more running shorts and will need to buy a pair, assuming I start doing some more running...
I suppose thats really all on my end of the world. I don´t have plans for this afternoon or evening yet. I´ll keep you updated.
TTYL :)

I thought the arm band was in the suitcase, did you look in all the side pockets? I don't remember packing the retainer. Have a good day at Gibralter and don't get bucked off by a horse.
