Katie, happy belated birthday! I thought of you on Friday, but not at the particular time I was at my computer. I got voicemail from Mary, I think. Maybe it was just a local, because they were speaking in English. One girl in the program has noticed my inability to answer my cell phone. The issue here is that my phone has different chips. One for when I call international and one for local calls and receiving calls. Twice this week I´ve called home and forgotten to change the chip. Which really makes my phone worthless.

If anyone was wondering, Peanut M&M´s are the same in Spain as they are at home. Except they are more expensive and come in a smaller package. So clearly they aren´t as delicious.

The soccer game was very cool. I think everyone in Sevilla must have been there. They beat whoever they were playing 2-1.

Málaga was dece. The area we stayed in was pretty ghetto. I think all of Málaga is pretty ghetto, actually. Saturday night a couple of us went out to dinner and walked an hour to the beach where we thought everyone else was at. Nobody was there, but it was already 12:45 so we took a cab home and went to bed rather than trying to find them, which we think would have been another long walk.

Sunday morning we went on a hike. You all know how I love hiking. Actually, it was more like a nature walk. But, it was really beautiful and I snapped lots of photos, but my camera died, again. There must be something wrong with it because I fully charged the rechargable battery before I left the states and it didn´t last through the botanical gardens. Then, the fresh batteries didn´t last for the hike, and another pair of fresh batteries didn´t last through the soccer game. There has to be something wrong if I´m going through so many. I don´t leave my camera on the whole time or anything, but it just eats through those batteries!

Last night, after the game, we didn´t pay enough attention to where we were going and took a wrong turn. We literally were off the map. what should be a 30 minute walk took 2 hours. I´ve been taking ibuprophen when I go to bed because my body is so sore. I can´t bend over and touch the floor very easily at all.

This afternoon I am definitely taking a siesta. Before lunch I am running errands.

If anyone wants a post card, you better send me your address! I did receive one from Soo today. Thanks! I´m not sure when it arrived. Today was the first time I checked the mailbox.

Word on the suitcase is that it was never in Málaga, even though that is what we were told on Saturday. Madrid is supposedly sending in on a 6pm flight tonight so I will receive it tonight or tomorrow.

I had planned on going to another area to shop today, so Mom, call me or expect a call on if I should go ahead and do this. Nancy said AirFrance should reimburse me 50€ a day once I fill out a claim in the U.S. and I will look over the program´s insurance also. I don´t want to buy something if it isn´t going to be covered, so I don´t know what to do. I think I deserve compensation, and think they should just give me some money rather than make me turn in receipts. I didn´t know for a week that I could do that so it really isn´t fair. It really isn´t fair my suitcase has been sitting in Madrid for 10 days....

Ahhh.

TTYL :)
