Quick tonight.

The bullfight was more or less boring. I don´t think I´ll be going back -- basically the bull is just tortured to death. There were six bulls -- three matadores killed twice. One bull got injured during ´warm ups´ (broke off the tips of his horns while running into a wall) and so he couldn´t be used. I wonder what they did with him...

I bought my Hawkeye Football tickets today. My friend here said all 22,000 Penn St. tickets sold out in 45 minutes. She didn´t get any. I might be roadtripping to Penn St. for the Iowa game to visit a friend from home. She´s disappointed about potentially missing the ND game. I would be, too.

She is the same friend thinking about traveling with me to Madrid before I need to be in Paris. Hopefully we can work something out .... I´ll be using Eurail passes and we´re not sure the cheapest she can travel for yet.

Last class today. The test went well. Fiesta tonight for Session 1 departures.

Today for lunch we had lasagna. Mercedes prepared it in the same sort casserole dish mom uses. Except Mom´s lasts a little longer because she doesn´t cut it into sixths like Mercedes... a piece for each of us and the neighbors. It was a lot of food.

Talked to Mary via gmail today. That was cool. We got cut off mid conversation though, due to slow computers here.
