Day 30

First of all, Happy Birthday Coach! Can't wait to do that 7 miler this weekend. Actually, yes, yes I can. It's going to be embarrassing. I recall saying I thought I could do five? Seriously. I'm going to be THAT girl. Like, someone will ask your friend later in the afternoon how it went and she'll reply "Oh, it was okay. Kind of hot. It was slow, not much of a workout. Kate's sister is in town and she's not in very good shape, so we went slower than I would have liked."

I'm not even kidding and you know it's true, don't deny it (I'm more beautiful than you) because you've said that about Tara and Noelle before and I know you think that you are slow too, but I'm not kidding when I say I'm on that level. I'm THAT girl.

Today I biked to Fitness East, and was planning on lifting, but it turns out there was a pow-wow that this girl wasn't invited to called there are eight of us just sitting on the machines not using them and catching up on old times. I gave everyone my best glare and they looked away, clearly frightened, but they didn't move. Stupid people.

But you should be pretty excited about your present. Word on the street is that Mare and I do a good job.

My new favorite website is the Internet Movie Database (IMDb). You know, see whats coming up an such. Like for December. The only thing listed that sounded halfway dec is this one with Matt Damon, Robert De Niro, and Angelina Jolie called The Shepard, a thriller of sorts about the guy who founded the CIA and its history. But I'm just partial to Matt Damon. We'll see what else comes out. Bourne Ultimatum is still pre-production and not due till March of next year. I also linked to a list of about a million "Historical Christmas Openings" and Anna and the King ain't high up on the list.

Mary and I just finished Say Anything. Joan and John Cusack have starred in 8 movies together, including this one. There's just something about those Cucacks. I'm trying to get Mary to break away from Investment Banking and to run off to Hollywood with me. I mean, I know a lot of actresses get a young start, but there are plenty who don't. This way, we'd avoid all the gossip and scandal and be able to take classy roles. classy roles because we're classy girls.

oh, and mary talked on the phone tonight, but she went in the other room, wasn't that nice of her, everyone? Actually, if you count the bathroom, the apartment is kind of spacious - 2.5 rooms!

I just don't know what I'll do all summer by myself without Mary. Probably I'll be very sad and lonely. I guess I could go chill out at Brothers by myself and just meet people.

today: 3 miles
week: haven't been adding
total: in the 70s (thats not very much)

126 days till the race. and i was trying on clothes, which is never a happy occasion, and I got to thinking, I did track and cross country and never was skinny I ran a marathon before and didn't lose weight then either, and I'm probably not going to now. I guess the Huge turn Gargantuan. or something. Soon I'll be Gargantuan Charlie.

I mean, even if I did start losing weight, in a couple years when I look dec, I'll have gray hair and bifocals.

At least I have a sense of humor. The chubby girls always have that going for them :) clearly, jk! sort of. I am pretty funny.
