It really irritates me right now that my picture doesn't show up on the blog, but the url is okay it appears when I try update my profile. If you were wondering, it's that fabulous picture Mary took of Ellen and me headed toward the finish line of the QC Marathon. Same as The Facebook.
Susan, you work out a lot and you don't eat very much so you are already better at life than me. Probably I'm the hugest Horan there ever was.
The weather was great today, although a little cloudy for my liking. I went tanning because I forgot I bought a month and hadn't been using it. I'm a little red in the cheeks and some of my friend were joking around that I was embarrassed. Except I don't really get embarrassed. On the way back to Burge I saw Mary across the Pentacrest in a lawn chair. She was out there for class and she must have told some people around her who I was because about half of 'em turned to look at me. Oh, Mary. You're nothing but trouble.
Dinner ran late and I clearly had to watch The OC (season finale in two weeks and this girl won't have tv!!) so I went to Fitness East and did three miles on the treadmill. You know what really grinds my gears? Well I'll tell you. When you are the only person doing cardio and some silly woman feels it is necessary to hop on the treadmill right next to yours. It took a lot of energy not to turn and glare at her.
I lifted. Three times this week, so not bad. My knees hurt when I do lunges, so I did some squad cars or fire hydrants or whatever those things are called. Ashley, you know what I'm talking about. Also, I think arm curls are harder than they should be and I'm going to go ahead and blame my messed up elbows. There are for sure stalkers at the gym. I mean, when people aren't lifting they just watch you and see how much you can do and then they feel better that they are stronger than me and the whole situation is just awkward. Especially when you see people you know. Kate, you're brave to take a chance on a guy at the gym.
I have a lot of work to get done tomorrow (procrastination at it's finest) so my run will probably be later in the evening again. Just studying for me this weekend. Maybe some lunch. I feel glad that I only have two finals next week.
Good day for KC, rough day for the Bulls.
Time for this girl to do the shower thing and go to bed.
See ya, don't want to be ya! ;)
Today's Mileage: 3 miles
Week's Mileage: 14 miles
Total Mileage: 24 miles
148 days till race day! :)

i HATE people who get next to me on the treadmill! i absolutely glare at them and get off my machine and move, preferably to a treadmill one or two down so that what i am doing is obvious to them.
good job on the lifting; if your knees hurt from lunges you're doing them wrong. stick your butt out more and don't let your knee come over your toe. keep your weight on your heel. you should feel lunges in your hamstring and glutes, not your quads. (i hope you know where all those muscles are.)
i'm loving the blog...
Thanks for the card. Hard copy mail is always a treat.
Should be a good weekend to run...good luck with studying.
