Still a gorgeous weekend. I can't wait to take time to actually enjoy this weather. It's so nice I can't help being in a good mood. I just want to sit around and do nothing.
Today I did the four mile course and ran around behind City High and did a mile on the track. The entire run was slow and not pretty, but I had made up my mind before I left that I wanted to do it. I like not having a watch, but on the track I naturally counted the pace for each 200m and would speed up or slow down to hit the right time. But I'm glad I did the run.
Other than that, I worked for three hours this morning and went with Ashley to Mass. Both were marginal, at best. Time to study now - I have a test at noon tomorrow, and one at noon on Tuesday. Then I move in with Mary on Thursday, Moving out of the dorms will be crazy, but I'm so glad to leave just because it means class is out. I got accepted into Kirkwood, thanks to all who had their fingers crossed, dand Macroecon starts on May 22. Get excited! I know I am.

I just saw susan's comment from yesterday. yes, kristen does say clearly a lot. what jessica simpson shoes are you looking for because they carry them at marshall fields up here. there were a few pairs i was mildly interesting in getting, but i decided they were'nt quite appropriate for teaching, and since i can't afford to buy anything i can't wear in the classroom i didn't buy them. i think there is one boy in my class who always calls me over to answer a question for him just so he can try and look down my shirt. obviously he's not very discrete. matt suggested that the kid might be calling me over so a friend of his could look, and that just made me wonder what kind of a kid matt was in high school.
a nice day here, too. went for an hour long run with missy this morning, but she was really hung over so it wasn't our usual speed. we went a little later, too, so we could be out in the sun. i got some good color. i didn't even lay out after that becaus i'm trying so hard not to get skin cancer. matt has been gone since 8 this morning and will be getting back at 8. i'll have dinner ready.
oh, and i just feel the need to tell everyone that i spent an hour scrubbing our shower tub today. there is still soap scum.
Charlie - several things. I'm particularly excited for us to move in together! lets get drunk every night! ha, ha mom and dad, only kidding. i have a final friday. also, i'm thrilled to hear about kirkwood. I was really hoping things would work out with that. so glad to hear good things. and thanks for this forum you've created, it makes me feel like i need to work out, too...
Kate - dont worry about the kid looking down your shirt. Last time i checked, there wasnt much to see...
Susan - stop trying to talk like charlie and me. i mean, it's clearly not ok to steal our phrases. seriously.
you looked pretty tired after that run...all this talk of running is making me feel really lazy....you should come to the QC sometime this summer....
