So we are sitting right now in a Dunkin Donuts in Berlin and I would like to point out that there are easily as many of these coffee shops as there are Starbucks.

With the rain, it´s practically the same as Boston, Dad. Execpt, you know, the whole history thing.

General consensus is that there´s been no fighting, minimal biting.

These keyboards are really hard to type with, and I think Mare and Soo sent e-mails with the rundown to Mom and Dad, who currently make up 66.666666 (repeating 6) % of my readership.

Paris was amazing, which says a lot, coming from me. There was bad weather, and I went into the city under the impression it was vastly overrated. It wasn´t. The Eiffel Tower and wine in plastic cups was my favorite. Second to Mary´s fanny pack and photography skills.

We did make it to the Catacombs, if you were wondering (I know you were). It´s a little sad though, skulls were so last season.

Berlin today was good, we went on this pretty dece tour and tonight we took it easy and went to Shrek 3. In English. Who knows what we´re doing to tomorrow since we´ve seen so much of it. Maybe a photo-op at Checkpoint Charlie or stopping in at the Kennedy Museum. Why wouldn´t we go to a Kennedy Museum? When in Berlin...

Also, I do a lot of talking in Spanish when people speak to us in a different language. It´s slightly embarrassing for us all becuse clearly I am not Spanish and clearly it is not my native language and clearlz they have no idea what I´m saying and that additionally, I have no idea what I´m saying.

Anyway, time´s-a-wastin´

Off to the barracks :)

Love you (shout out to ..... (uh, oh, who´s it for?!?!))

TTYL :)

Glad to hear that you have Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. Also glad that Paris wasn't overrated, even in the rain. And I would like a photo at Checkpoint Charlie. Have fun.

Here's confirmation of my 1/3 share of your readership.

My German is limited to "ein bier", and I don't even know how to spell it.

when i was in germany, our hotel guy was mean and refused to give us our room key unless we asked for it in german. it's not like we were german students!
do i comprise the other 33.3% of your readership?
did you guys know that there were a ton of celebrities in paris for various designer fashion shows when you were there?
please make sure to take a picture of mary with her fanny pack. reading that almost made me spit my coffee out of my mouth and all over my computer.
2 weeks till bliss!!

We weren't exactly hanging out in the same neighborhoods as the celebs... Maybe one day though, I think we've all decided that if any of us have another trip abroad we will not be doing it on this budget and will stay in real hotels :)
