We made it to Rome!!

1. I think I love the Colosseum (that's a hard word to spell).
and
2. WE BOUGHT OUR HPV (HARRY POTTER (IV) AND THE ORDER OF THE PHEONIX) TICKETS!!! excited yet?!?!

This morning we all slept in (till almost 9!) then went shoe shopping. No success. I wasn't really looking for myself as most stores don't carry my size. I wear a 43. Most stores carry through 41. Actually, stores in Sevilla advertised that they carry large sizes if they have 40 & 41. Sad because I keep seeing a cute style, too.

After a pizza lunch, Mary headed to Pisa (I hope she gets a good photo wearing the fanny while pretending to hold the tower up) and Susan and I came to Rome.

After checking in our small but accomating room, we headed to the Trevi fountain, where we tossed in two coins. One for a second trip to Rome, the other for a wish to be granted. Soo walked right up to the fountain and tossed them in, I tossed over my shoulder and got a good photo. Except I just did right hand over right shoulder, and then heard a guide tell his group to do right hand over left shoulder. So I did another just in case. The guide book didn't say anything about which hand or shoulder, but you can never be too safe. I'll probably be okay though, if that second wish doesn't come true.

We walked by the old Forum and some ruins and a church and I loved it because there was the Colosseum, just peeking in the background. We walked down there and I figure that the road had the best view and must be the one greats like Audrey and Gregory (Roman Holiday) and even the Duffster (Lizzie McGuire Movie) rode their mopeds on.

The rest of the night consisted of dinner, purchasing movie tickets, finding Internet. Probably I'll get to work on a puzzle (I am not good, Mary always "helps" and by "help" I clearly mean "fixes" them).

I think Soo's getting anxious to go and we are for sure in the ghetto. If you're lucky you'll hear more tomorrow and know that we didn't get shot on the way to the hotel.

Love you, miss you!

TTYL :)
