It's Facebook official....

...so I went back to Von Maur to buy the break up boots and am feelings slightly better.

My roommates all went out tonight and I'm taking advantage of the quiet apartment to watch The Office and Grey's Anatomy on the DVR. I haven't tuned in to ER in years, but recorded tonight's episode to see Dr. Green. I'll watch the season/series finale if Noah Wyle and George Clooney come back. Might as well end the series with high ratings, right?

I wish you could take personal days in college. I've been a bit distracted this week and would have liked to hide under the covers and watched reruns of Beverly Hills, 90210 on SoapNet all day. But that's not really an option. I've cut some corners but will fall even further behind if I don't get my but into gear soon.

Going for the a big glass of vino to help sleep tonight.

What boots did you buy?!? Break up boots are the best. Even two years later you can slip them on and feel like crushing the world in them...

I'm glad your back online.

Mental Health days are key. On those days i dont think i can handle work, i usually indulge in more than one starbucks trip. Sometimes one of them includes a chocolate chunk cookie. i'm a real fan of emotional eating. you can tell from my cellulite.

when you bought the boots were you singing the song "one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you" in you head, or out loud? i also would like to see said boots. perhaps you could upload an image?
i'm into retail therapy. although, since i've been poor most of my life, that usually involves surfing the internet for several hours, looking for something i can afford. then you get the added bonus of having something to look forward to in the mail. you do miss out on the instant gratification, in which case it may be necessary to also go for the chocolate chunk cookie.
i had no idea you were posting, so i'll address the foot issue you mentioned a few days ago. it sounds a lot like plantar fasciitis, or the beginnings of it. webmd it and you can learn about it. basically it's tendons in your foot that are tight and pulling. you should stretch your legs and ice your foot. use epsom salt in an ice bucket twice a day for 15 minutes and i bet your foot will feel better. it is important to stretch, though. and wear cushioned shoes for lots of walking.
i do not believe in nyquil for sleeping. it makes me hallucinate and wake up feeling like i have a hang over. my friend who is a nurse and works nights says she takes tylenol pm when she has to sleep during the day. maybe try that?
a trip to the salon for a good haircut is another way to relax and feel satisfied.
your next post should be a top ten list of items you'd like for your birthday or christmas.
