So busy!
No time to blog. Katie, think last time I talked to you times one million and six!
At least when I post I can usually count on some good comments to fuel future entries.
Earlier today I did a wing eating contest (results aren't in, but I may have won?). Ha. Are you really surprised.
In my political behavior class today a girl actually said "Muslimism" when referring to Islam. Except, based on what she said, she probably meant Hinduism. Definitely an LOL.
Broadcast is almost making me thing that it is the opposite of what I want to do. Maybe I'll just go to law school.
Tonight the bf and I are going to the Olive Garden. Our favorite place (in that tone Kate uses to talk about that pizza place or the mexican place, or any restaurant, really, that she and Matt frequent), you know. Almost as classy as the Red Lobster.
I'm too busy too look good, so it's probably okay we don't go anywhere that nice.
Have a nice night. TTYL :)

Maybe the girl in your class has her eye on the Miss America crown.
How spicy were the wings, on a scale from 1-10? Personally, I feel that in order for it to be a true chicken wing, it must have some zing. Sorry, Susan.
I gave one of my classes a vocabulary quiz today, their second one with "The Crucible". When I initially give them the words, I give the list of words and the definitions I will use on the quiz, but not in order. This way, they still have to look up the definition, but they kind of know what they're looking for. It eliminates that whole "none of your definitions are the same as mine" argument. Funny though, this one kid still tried to use it. The day we were working on the words, he came up and told me how all of these words were familiar to him and proceeded to tell me his own versions of the definitions. I said, okay sounds like you know them, guess you don't need to copy mine. On the test, he wrote me several little notes about how my definitions (the ones I had provided on the first day!) were unclear to him and didn't go with any of the words. Today, on the second quiz, he wrote me another little note about how he forgot to study. Now, I read this note before I graded the quiz and wondered what his purpose was in writing that little line. Did he think I was not going to count the quiz? Was he worried about getting a bad score and have me think he was dumb? He is a good student, but bothers me for reasons I can't articulate. His note irked me, and irked me even more when I graded his quiz and he got them all correct.
What is with little notes to teachers and did anyone out there ever write one on an assignment or test?
Not sure if I ever left notes on my assignments for my teachers. I am sure I ate wings last night for dinner myself and they were wonderful!
No news to report here. Lots LOTS to do.
Char, why aren't you loving broadcast anymore?
