Ohhh bloggity blog blog blawwwg.

You don't understand the pressure I feel writing in a silly blog! I'm waiting for the day Dad has to write..."This was an okay blog, I'm sure you'll do better next time."

I know, I know....Mom - you're thinking "don't write to entertain, track your miles!" She's concerned about the marathon. The increase in comments from Coach Kate is making me think she's a little nervous, too. All I have to say is this:

Don't worry about the marathon, it's in the bag.

I'll try to keep this shorter - Not all of you have the attention span, plus, I always want to go delete the parts no one cares about.

I think I may have officially gotten sick of soda. Or, at least, DDP. I still have a 12 pack left, but, I mean, I easily go through 5x as much soda as water, and thats no good. I've noticed that lately I've been running my tongue over the top of my teeth...they always feel so filmy and gross now. I for sure need to do some white strips. That was five sentences in a row that started with "I."

I may not be a teacher, but I do know that's bad English, even for a first person narrative. However, editing blogs gets awfully time consuming, and since this update isn't even a good one, it's not worth it. My favorite grammatical part about English is the prepositional phrase. I'm pretty sure it's becausee they are so easy. I don't know anything about adverbs, any kind of clause, or the letters S, V, O, and DO. So I mean, don't call me up with your grammar questions or anything.

I have a Target dress and wore it on Friday when all my clothes were dirty. The only person that didn't ask me "What's with the dress" or "why are you so dressed up" is my friend the janitor at the Lindquist Center. She unlocks the video services office when I lock my keys in, holds the doors open when I'm lugging camera gear, and asks about my day and what I'm going to shoot. I see her practically every day, but I don't know her name, I think it'd be pretty weird to ask since she's content calling everyone, "Sweetie." The thing is, I know everyone elses name, so it's not like I'm about the throw out a "cupcake" or "dear" specifically for her.

Its funny, other girls I know could wear the dress and no one would say anything. The other night I tried to put on more make up than usual - I think I was pretty successful - and I wonder if anyone noticed. I wouldn't expect anyone to say anything, especially because I soon discovered I ain't got nothin' on the make up some of the other kids who hang around wear.

I guess you could say I wear a lot of t-shirts. Never really listened to much Weezer, though, Mary. If anyone ever wants to take//give me money to go shopping, I'm sure I can look more appealing.

I mean, I could significantly increase my wardrobe with the small amount Roy dishes over for a handbag. At least, as long as I don't go back to Marshall Fields. Iowa might not have any good stores, but that way I don't spend much money.

I'm out like trout. Reading then bed. So maybe not ezactly like trout.

TTYL :)

i'm not WORRIED, cupcake. and don't tell anyone, but i'm not so sure about the S,V, DO stuff either. i just fake it. wish you could see some of the papers i got last week. unreadable. speaking of DDP, i believe i'm on a DDP kick right now. i bought a case for some variety a couple weeks ago, and am pleasantly pleased with myself. it's good. i just looked at the weather for tara's wedding and it is supposed to be 93. great. i have to go copy some more grammar worksheets for my kids. love ya!

I saw you in the skirt (dress?) Saturday night and I thought that you looked really nice! I must admit, that beyond funerals, weddings, and graduations, I don't have a lot of recollections of you not in jeans or running attire.

oh, and are you allowed to comment on your own blog?

I think it's totally cool to comment on your own blog... particularly if you are not going to make an actual entry. I would also like to say that I am pro-skirts, (although is it really a surprise that a former cheerleader is promoting skirt-wearing?). I am also pro- running attire, but for the like, eight hours i wasnt at work today, i spent 7 of them sleeping, and 1 getting ready. AHH it's nearly 3 am. Bankers work many hours... 7 hours of sleep may not happen again until friday! ha,ha. like i sleep on the weekends.......... LOVE YOU ALL!
